Domains
A domain is a hostname that serves one of your project's environments, or redirects to another domain of the project.
The default domain
Every project gets <slug>.hiraiship.app, serving its production environment. It needs no DNS, comes with HTTPS, and can't be removed, so the environment always has an address that works.
It's live once the first deployment is.
Custom domains
Add your own domains on top: example.com, www.example.com, api.example.com. Each one:
- points at an environment of the project, or redirects to another of its domains;
- needs DNS records at your DNS provider, which the dashboard lists for you;
- gets an HTTPS certificate on its own, once its DNS is in place.

On Free, the included number is a hard limit. On a paid plan, adding one more shows its monthly price before you confirm.
Where to manage them
In the dashboard, a project's Domains page lists every domain of the project, with its environment and status. Owners, admins and developers can add, edit and remove domains.
